Plans are well underway to celebrate 100 years of our sisterhood and history. Please mark your calendar, save the date and join us in Alfred for the 2024 Reunion. An Alfred University Reunion offers something for everyone. There are even a couple event options open only to our sisterhood.
9 Sayles Renovation Fund
If you haven’t yet made a gift, please consider donating to the σ Chi Nu 9 Sayles Renovation Fund. This cause is one that is near and dear to all our hearts. 访问 our Renovation Fund page to read how our beloved home and its true testament and resilience has stood the test of time.
Reunion Registration Tips
σ sisters can request on-campus housing, giving us the chance to all be together just like old times. Be sure you request to be housed near the σ Sister’s group on your registration form. If you prefer to room with a sister, specify your roommates name.
We also encourage you to take part in Saturday lunch. When registering, you can request to sit with your σ Chi Nu sisters.
σ Chi Nu sisters are selling swag for Reunion!
The σ Swag bag includes a branded canvas tote bag, a plush embroidered blanket, etched stone coasters, wool knee socks, and a temporary rose tattoo. 11:00 am – Complimentary bus departs the AU campus for travel to Barrelhouse 6 Distillery, Hammondsport, NY. 电子邮件 alumni@elmasimemlak.net to reserve you seat. Pick-up location will be listed in the Reunion program guide.
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm – Barrelhouse 6 Distillery Pre-game Party – Looking for something different to do? Start your weekend at Barrelhouse 6 Distillery. One of the premier start-up craft distilleries in the U.S., located in the beautiful Finger Lakes "Wine Country" Region of New York. B6D co-owners Kara Mackey '88, σ Chi Nu Sister and Joe Sorrentino '83 Lambda Chi Alpha Brother, are excited to welcome you to the "pre-game party". Enjoy the festive atmosphere and the breathtaking views, while you're sharing memories of your σ Chi Nu Sisterhood. Pay as you go event; feel free to take advantage of the safe and complimentary round tip ride. If you plan to utilize the bus, email the alumni office to reserve your seat: alumni@elmasimemlak.net.
4:00 pm – Arrive back to campus and get ready for our 100th celebration.
5:00 pm – Past President's cocktail party – Location will be listed in the Reunion Program Guide.
6:00 pm – σ Chi Nu 100th Celebration – Location will be listed in the Reunion Program Guide.
10:00 am – σ Chi Nu Annual Meeting
σ Chi Nu sisters who are not able to join us in Alfred on June 8, please register to take part in our annual meeting. When you register, the Zoom link will be included in your confirmation.
